National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship Program

•  Human resource base for science, technology, engineering and mathematics

•  Three years of support

•  $30,000 stipend and $10,500 cost of education allowance per award

National Physical Science Consortium

•  Pays tuition and fees

•  $16,000 stipend

•  2-3 year initial support depending on the employer sponsor, may continue up to 6 years

•  Provides support while the graduate student conducts dissertation research

•  Internship Program

•  Places NPSC applicants with its employer-members for summer research

Jacob K. Javits Fellowship

•  Art, Humanities, and Social Science

•  Stipend based on financial need for up to 48 months

Jack Kent Cooke Foundation

•  $50,000 per year/6years

•  Must be nominated by the Faculty Representative at their institution

•  3.5 GPA

Harry S. Truman Scholarship/Fellowship

•  Year long program in Washington DC before graduate school

•  Committed to a career in government or the not-for-profit sector

•  Full-time junior-level student at a four-year institution

Ford Foundation Diversity Fellowship

•  Predoctoral Fellowship provides three years of support for individuals engaged in graduate study leading to a Ph.D. or Sc.D. 

•  Must be committed to a career in teaching and research at the college or university level. 

•  Annual Stipend $17,000 - will pay $5,000 in tuition and fees
