To be eligible to participate in the Ronald E. McNair Postbaccalaureate
Achievement Program at Eastern Kentucky University a student must
be:
- A citizen or national of the United States
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program at EKU
- A low-income individual who is a first-generation university
student; or
- A member of a group underrepresented in graduate education
- Able to verify excellent undergraduate academic achievement
- Committed to a career path in which a doctorate is requisite
- Able and willing to attend all McNair sponsored events
- Scholastically competitive and ambitious
